We are committed to continually improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking to encourage the same high standards from our supply chain and other business partners. Our Partners represent a critical component of our performance and value proposition. We require all our suppliers, business partners, subcontractors, workers, and any other individuals working with or on behalf of them to adhere to the standards in our Code of Conduct.

Umbrella companies are organisations that act as payroll providers to temporary workers: Agencies pay umbrella companies the gross amount for time worked. It is then the umbrella company's responsibility to pay the worker, subject to tax and NI contributions in accordance with HMRC legislation as applicable.
Under significant new Joint & Several Liability Reforms effective from 6th April 2026, where an umbrella company is found to have not paid the correct contributions, other businesses in the supply chain will also be found liable for these payments.
This will include recruitment agencies and managed service providers (MSPs).
As a result of these changes, Impellam Group and its subsidiaries and suppliers are now bound to use only suppliers on our Approved Umbrella Supplier List. These suppliers have undergone regular and robust audits through a rigid due diligence process. They have been found to provide a high level of customer service to our workers.
We may update this list on occasion. We will notify you directly of any changes.
